Qualtech Systems, Inc (QSI) provides intelligent reasoner technology for automatic diagnosis of complex equipment. The TEAMS® reasoner uses machine data (e.g., error codes) to narrow down the suspects and enables dispatch of the right parts, skills and tools to get the equipment fixed right the first time. TEAMS® excels at identifying root causes in equipment with complex relationships between suspects and error codes, and utilizes sophisticated algorithms to largely eliminate the need for troubleshooting. QSI clients have achieved a threefold reduction in unscheduled downtime and diagnostics part usage. TEAMS® enables all your service agents to perform like an expert.

Somnath Deb, Ph.D.
Co-founder, President, CTO at Qualtech Systems, Inc.(QSI)
Somnath co-founded Qualtech Systems, Inc. in 1993, and is currently its President and CTO. For the first 20 years since its founding, Somnath, first in his role as Chief Scientist, and later as the CTO, worked tirelessly with fellow Qualtechers to develop the core technologies in diagnostics that are at the heart of QSI’s products today. Along the way, QSI has been established as a leader in Integrated Diagnostics and Health Management technologies, having been recognized twice by NASA with the Space Act Awards. Since assuming the role of President of QSI in 2007, he has transformed QSI from an R&D company to a product company, with QSI deriving more than half its revenue from product licensing. Over the last 5 years, QSI has positioned its diagnostics products for the broader market of field service and remote diagnostics of high value assets in high-tech industries like semiconductor and medical equipment makers, while establishing its products as the de facto standard for NASA Constellation and Space Launch Systems programs. His passion is to connect technology with business, helping customers realize the full benefits of QSI’s product portfolio in field service organizations of high-tech equipment manufacturers.
